Sound IQ
SoundIQ is an online mapping application featuring local nearshore data from each Marine Resources Committee. The Whatcom MRC works with the Northwest Straits Commission staff to incorporate new data from Whatcom MRC projects into the system.
Planners (city and county), officials who develop Shoreline Master Plan updates, permitting agencies/departments, natural resource NGOs, general public, local officials, and resource managers are target audiences.
The goal of SoundIQ is to make Northwest Straits Initiative data easily accessible and useful to a variety of users.
